CBD’s High St March Takes All Before It

HIGH END British department store Selfridges has listed the CBD range of a new UK start-up which has also been boosted by a 847,000 Euro investment.

London-based Grass & Co was launched last year by experienced entrepreneur Ben Grass, and has quickly made rapid market strides.

Its tie-up with Selfridges will see the leading department store stock a range of its CBD products in its London and Manchester outlets and on its website selfridges.com.

The company has also closed an €847,000 seed financing round backed by a number of experienced angel investors.

Toby Gordon-Smith, CEO, Grass & Co said its is ‘committed to producing a quality, ethically sourced CBD product free from pesticides and herbicides that consumers can trust’.

Selfridges currently stock Kiki Health CBD products and its latest CBD deal will see it carry Grass & Co’s Ease and Calm ranges, which include body oils and muscle balms.

Selfridges is the latest major high street brand to succumb to the CBD juggernaut – with over one million daily users in the U.K. the market is set to be worth over £1bn within a few years.

World-renowned London brand Harrods now stock a range supplied by Dragonfly Biosciences, whilst Tesco recently launched a range supplied by Vitality CBD.

Both UK health food shop Holland & Barrett and health and wellness,  and pharmacy chain Boots also stock and sell CBD products.
